The AMiMX6-01 module based on the NXP iMX6 Quad Core A9 multimedia processor provides a proven functional unit for inclusion in OEM products . By embedding the AM iMX6-01, the parent system can utilise the full functionality of the board. Supplied with onboard Linux operating system, the board supports rapid product development, or alternatively, the cost-effective unit provides an efficient and commercially attractive product solution. The on-board feature set leads to a powerful embedded module to meet demanding applications. The AM iMX6-01 includes I/O for video processing and streaming (over Ethernet, WiFi or modem) and has 2 onboard CAN interfaces for connection to industrial networks or for vehicle integration. All components are extended temperature rated, and the unit is targeted for industrial use and suited to harsh environment.
