The Taipan1 Motherboard accepts the Python/ASP modules and extends functionality to provide a stand-alone Linux development platform. The core processor is as fitted on the Python/ASP module which together with the Taipan1 motherboard provides a powerful integrated Linux development platform. Available functionality includes 2x USB 2.0 host ports, video port for connection to monitor, keyboard/mouse ports, 3 x hard disk ports and a PCI slot. The motherboard runs Fedora Core enabling native PPC development. |
